Opportunity Overview
Our client is a London-based financial and commercial services company operating in the digital media space, helping independent content businesses grow and monetise more effectively. They are expanding their commercial team and looking for a driven Business Development Executive to own creator acquisition from first outreach through to signed partnership.
Role Description
As BDE, you will prospect, engage, and convert target accounts into long-term clients, then manage those relationships independently without escalating to leadership. You will work within a structured outbound sales function, owning your pipeline end-to-end and hitting targets through consistent activity, strong communication, and sound commercial judgement. This role suits someone who is hungry, organised, and has a proven track record of closing in a Western B2B or professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting β Identify and research target accounts that fit the company's ideal client profile across digital platforms.
- Pipeline Management β Build and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline and move opportunities efficiently from first contact to close.
- Outreach Execution β Run structured multi-channel outreach campaigns across cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and social to generate and convert interest.
- Relationship Ownership β Serve as the primary point of contact for signed clients, managing ongoing communication and satisfaction independently.
- Deal Coordination β Work with internal teams to scope and structure commercial terms appropriate to each client's profile and needs.
- Performance Reporting β Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline health; report clearly against agreed targets on a regular cadence.
Minimum Qualifications
- Sales Track Record β 2+ years in a BDR, SDR, Sales Executive, or similar outbound role with demonstrated quota attainment.
- Closing Ability β Proven capacity to take a deal from cold outreach to signed agreement without heavy management support.
- Communication Skills β Strong written and verbal English (C1+), capable of representing the business credibly at every stage of the sales cycle.
- CRM Proficiency β Comfortable managing pipeline and activity in standard CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
- Remote Work Discipline β Demonstrated ability to deliver results autonomously in a fully remote setting.
- Western Market Experience β Direct experience working with or selling to Western clients or companies, with fluency in UK or US professional norms.

- Digital Media Exposure β Some familiarity with the online content, influencer, or digital media landscape, whether professionally or personally.
- Early-Stage Experience β Prior experience working in a startup or scale-up environment where process is still being built.
