This role coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, ensures accurate documentation, and supports customs and regulatory compliance for air, sea, and land freight. The Cargo Operations Officer liaises with carriers, agents, and internal teams to schedule cargo movements, track shipments, and resolve operational issues. The position involves monitoring service quality, updating systems with cargo status, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. The officer also assists in preparing operational reports, managing cargo discrepancies, and maintaining adherence to safety and security standards.QualificationsStrong operational skills in cargo handling, freight forwarding, and logistics coordination, including shipment scheduling and tracking.Knowledge of customs procedures, trade regulations, and documentation requirements for international shipping and export operations.Proficiency in using logistics management systems, cargo tracking tools, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email platforms).Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with carriers, agents, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.Ability to analyze operational data, identify issues, and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and service quality.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Relevant experience in cargo operations, logistics, aviation, or supply chain roles; experience within Egyptian or regional markets is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred.Commitment to safety, compliance, and professional conduct, with a customer-focused and team-oriented work approach.
