Job Title: CashierJob PurposeThe Cashier is responsible for managing all customer payment transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation, compliance with company policies, and maintaining a high level of customer service while supporting the Finance function.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries related to installments, due amounts, and payment methods.Receive and process all types of payments including cash, current cheques, post-dated cheques, bank transfers, and online payments in line with approved payment plans.Verify sales installment contracts prior to processing payments, ensuring accuracy of client information and amounts.Issue system-generated receipts for all transactions, ensuring proper linkage to contract number, unit number, and customer code.Perform daily cash desk closing, including reconciliation of cash, cheques, and POS transactions, and prepare daily collection reports for the Finance team.Report any discrepancies or irregularities in cash handling or system records immediately to the direct manager.Coordinate with Sales, Collections, and Customer Service teams regarding upcoming installments, overdue payments, and client account status.Maintain organized records and filing systems for all financial documents, including receipts and cheques, to support audits and internal reviews.Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures at all times.Perform any additional duties as assigned by the line manager.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably within the real estate sector.Solid understanding of cash handling procedures and financial controls.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with POS and ERP systems.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and punctuality.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions efficiently.
