The Catalogue Manager is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and improving the company’s full music catalogue. This includes ensuring all songs and recordings are correctly documented, registered, updated, and available for use across digital platforms, licensing partners, and internal teams.Duties & Responsibilities1. Catalogue Organization & ManagementMaintain an accurate and updated database of all songs, recordings, metadata, and rights information.Ensure all catalogue entries include correct credits: artists, producers, writers, composers, publishers, and release details.Upload and update catalogue assets (audio, artwork, metadata) across internal systems.2. Metadata Accuracy & Quality ControlReview and clean metadata to avoid errors, duplicates, or missing information.Ensure all tracks meet industry metadata standards (ISRC, ISWC, UPC codes, etc.).Coordinate with artists, labels, and publishers to confirm correct information.3. Digital Platform CoordinationPrepare and deliver catalogue updates to DSPs like Spotify, Apple Music, Anghami, YouTube, etc.Handle content corrections, take-downs, re-deliveries, and new releases when required.Ensure all catalogue content is live, accessible, and performing properly online.4. Rights & Licensing SupportMake sure all rights information is complete: ownership splits, publishing, master rights, agreements.Work with the licensing team to provide accurate catalogue data for sync, partnerships, and monetization.5. Reporting & Catalogue PerformanceMonitor catalogue trends and key performance metrics (streams, downloads, engagement).Provide regular reports to management on catalogue growth and performance.Identify opportunities to highlight catalogue content (playlisting, re-releases, remasters).6. Internal CollaborationWork closely with A&R, Legal, Marketing, and Royalties departments.Support internal teams with catalogue information for campaigns, releases, and rights clearance. Experience in the music industry or content management (5 years & above preferred).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with all digital platforms like Spotify for Artists, YouTube CMS, or content delivery systems.Basic understanding of music rights, publishing, and digital distribution.Good communication skills and ability to work with artists and internal teams.Ability to manage large volumes of data and work with spreadsheets/databases
