The Chief Accountant will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities include managing general ledger activities, supervising a team of accountants, overseeing tax processes, and coordinating with external auditors.QualificationsStrong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS or GAAP)10+ years of progressive accounting experience (with at least 3–4 years in a managerial role)Experience in travel and tourism industry specially B2B Travel sector is a must.Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Cash flow management and treasury oversight.Experience in Tax Compliance, Auditing, and Internal ControlsProficiency in Accounting Software and ERP systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesLeadership, team management, and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressureBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA certification is a plus)Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the travel or technology industry
