Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role as a Chief Accountant at Korashi Group, located in 6th of October. The Chief Accountant will oversee financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. Responsibilities include supervising accounting teams, conducting financial analysis, monitoring cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making through precise financial reporting. The role also involves liaising with external auditors and maintaining accurate financial records.QualificationsStrong accounting and financial management skills, including knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow managementProficiency in accounting software and tools, with a solid understanding of local taxation and compliance requirementsLeadership and team management abilities to oversee and guide accounting teams effectivelyAnalytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret financial data for strategic decision-makingStrong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with different departments and stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plusProven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within a similar industryWhat we’re looking for: • Around 7 to 10 years of solid accounting experience (experience leading a team is a plus). • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting. • Good understanding of tax regulations and compliance. • Comfort working with accounting systems and Excel. • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.What you’ll be doing: • Overseeing daily accounting operations. • Preparing clear and accurate financial reports. • Supporting management with insights and analysis. • Improving internal financial processes as we grow.
