A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, water systems, and other public works. They ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with regulations and engineering standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop civil engineering projects.Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.Supervise construction activities and monitor project progress.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and building codes.Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, and other stakeholders.Review and approve project plans and materials.Identify and solve engineering and construction-related issues.Prepare project reports and documentation. Education:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Experience:Previous experience in civil engineering, construction, or project management is preferred.Experience with infrastructure, residential, commercial, or industrial projects is an advantage.Technical Skills:Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD.Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Understanding of local and international building codes and regulations.
