Company Description Ma Maisonnette Nursery and Preschool is an early childhood center serving children from 3 months to 5 years in a safe, nurturing environment that supports emotional well-being and gentle separation from caregivers. The center follows a Montessori-inspired approach with a strong foundation in child psychology, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social development. Children benefit from bilingual exposure in French and English, along with engaging activities designed to support age-appropriate skill building. The program also emphasizes healthy nutrition and offers a warm, supportive after-school experience for young learners.Role Description The Class Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school’s Montessori-inspired philosophy, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Daily responsibilities include guiding children through structured and play-based learning, supporting social-emotional development, observing and documenting progress, and maintaining clear communication with families and the school team. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, attend training sessions and staff meetings, and contribute to school events and projects. The role also involves supervising daily routines such as arrival, meals, rest time, and dismissal, ensuring children’s wellbeing at all times.Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and early childhood development, with understanding of Montessori-inspired or child-centered approaches.Proficiency in Teaching and Lesson Planning, including designing developmentally appropriate, engaging classroom activities.Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and supportive manner.Experience in Training or mentoring young learners, supporting skill-building, and guiding positive behavior.Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; formal Montessori or early years certifications are an asset.Previous classroom experience with children aged 3 months to 5 years, ideally in a nursery or preschool setting.Ability to create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment and to manage a small group of children with patience and consistencyProficiency in English language is a MUST.
