The Cairo campus, which opened in September 2025, is dedicated to supporting students in achieving academic success while nurturing their intellectual and creative potentialAbout the RoleMoon Hall Cairo is looking for a dedicated Specialist Teacher / Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. You will deliver targeted, high-quality interventions for children with specific learning difficulties (SpLD), working one-to-one and in small groups. Using diagnostic assessments as your foundation, you will design individualized lesson plans, track progress, and collaborate closely with parents and colleagues. Where qualified, you will also conduct dyslexia assessments and access arrangements testing.Key Responsibilities• Design and deliver individualized and small group interventions informed by diagnostic reports• Set student targets, review progress regularly, and produce detailed written reports• Contribute to IEP development in collaboration with the wider team• Maintain regular communication with parents and provide strategies for home support• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all interventions and student progress• Stay current with SpLD research and participate in team meetings and CPDEssential Criteria• QTS or Level 5 practitioner qualification in SpLD• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related specialist field• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children with SpLD• Strong written and verbal English communication skills• Ability to interpret diagnostic reports and apply findings to teaching strategies• Proficiency in using technology to support learning and record-keeping• Clean criminal record and ability to pass rigorous safeguarding checksDesirable Criteria• Level 5+ qualification in SpLD from a recognised institution, or willingness to train• Additional qualifications in SEN or child development• Experience in international or multicultural educational settings• Knowledge of the local Egyptian SEN landscape• Arabic proficiency• Experience delivering training for parents or educatorsAs part of our international recruitment package, we offer:Annual Salary range (GBP): 36,300 to 51,200 Accommodation in a premium location in Cairo, close to the assessment centreAnnual round flight ticketsInternational medical insuranceOngoing professional development opportunitiesHow to ApplyInterested candidates should send their CV to: HR@neweraeducation-eg.com
