The company offers a range of services including AI engineering, managed teams, DevOps, QA automation, and application modernization for enterprise and emerging tech clients.Role DescriptionC3S is hiring a full-time Cloud Data & Analytics Engineer to support the delivery of a live Amazon e-commerce analytics platform for a CPG retail-media client. The engagement is built on AWS-native services and involves live API integrations with Amazon's SP-API and Ads API, a full data pipeline through S3, Lambda, Glue, and Athena, and a QuickSight analytics layer with a custom AI agent. The engineer will work as part of a small, senior delivery team under the guidance of a US-based Technical Lead. Roles and ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain live API integration clients for Amazon SP-API (Vendor Central and Seller Central) and Amazon Ads API, including OAuth flows, token rotation, rate-limit handling, and idempotent ingestion patterns. Develop AWS Lambda functions for data ingestion, transformation, and event-driven processing; wire EventBridge schedules and SQS dead-letter queues for failure recovery. Design and implement S3 bucket structures (raw and silver layers), Glue Data Catalog schemas, and Athena views for cross-source ASIN-level analytics. Configure AWS Secrets Manager for OAuth token storage with KMS encryption and scheduled token rotation. Support QuickSight dataset registration via Athena, SPICE refresh automation, and KPI model implementation. Participate in cross-account IAM setup, including trust policy configuration and least-privilege scoping for CapNexus delivery access. Write tests covering API edge cases, throttling behavior, deduplication logic, and schema drift detection. Work under the guidance of a US-based Technical Lead as part of an Agile delivery team, participating in sprint planning, standups, and code reviews. Support client-facing technical walkthroughs including SP-API developer registration, IAM setup, and operational handoff documentation. Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education.2 to 5 years of hands-on experience building on AWS, with direct experience across Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, IAM, and Secrets Manager. Demonstrated experience with REST API integrations, OAuth 2.0 authorization flows, and token lifecycle management. Proficiency in Python (primary language for Lambda functions and data pipeline work). Familiarity with event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SQS, and CloudWatch. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling (Terraform or AWS CDK preferred). Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, client-facing written deliverables are part of this role. Must reside in Egypt. This is a fully remote position. Preferred / Nice to havePrior experience with Amazon SP-API or Amazon Ads API integrations.Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) and the AMC Insights pattern.
