Role Objectives:As a Commercial Head, you will set Kitchen brand strategy across a portfolio of food brands and cloud kitchen operations, manage revenue and profitability to drive strong financial performance, and ensure product availability. You'll leverage customer insights to optimize the customer experience, collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and technology teams, and address product issues with Sourcing, Procurement, QA, and Ops to achieve sustainable growth.Breadfast Kitchen is the cloud kitchen commercial arm of Breadfast; the team that builds and owns our portfolio of homegrown food brands from the ground up. From all-day breakfast with Brekkie, to bold comfort food with Fire, to a fresh take on burgers with The Chosen Bun, we don’t just list food on a platform; we create brands that customers keep coming back to.Roles & Responsibilities:Oversee Kitchen revenue and profitability, managing end-to-end performance and growth while owning P&L targets and optimizing key metrics including GTV, Orders, AOV, Conversion, Repeat Rate, Contribution Margin, and EBITDA.Define the vision, strategy, and product roadmap for Breadfast Kitchen, establishing brand positioning, customer value propositions, brand architecture, and driving menu innovation.Leverage customer insights and behavioral data to develop strategies that meet the needs of various customer segments, enhancing overall customer satisfaction and engaging through multiple channels as necessary.Design and manage pricing and promotional strategies, alongside growth initiatives like CRM, loyalty programs, and partnerships, to drive trials, maximize ecosystem visibility, and foster sustainable customer retention.Forecast and track sales and key performance indicators (KPIs), building robust reporting frameworks and sharing weekly/monthly performance updates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.Oversee supply and demand teams to forecast new product volumes, evaluate expansion into new locations or formats, and ensure consistent product availability.Work with marketing teams to manage marketing calendars, execute growth experimentation, and support new product and brand launches from concept to ongoing category campaigns.Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings, conducting deep market research, competitor benchmarking, and pricing analysis to build business cases that inform category strategy and investment decisions.Partner with Sourcing, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Operations to optimize cloud kitchen performance, address product-related issues, manage excess inventory, and resolve shortages in a timely manner.Partner with Product and Engineering teams to improve the customer journey, defining requirements for new features, recommendation engines, bundles, and commercial tools.Evaluate and pursue new business development opportunities, including expansion into new channels, formats, and external partnerships, developing financial models and leading commercial negotiations.Lead and develop the commercial team across brand management, commercial analysis, growth, and marketing functions, establishing clear performance objectives, capability development plans, succession pipelines, and a culture of accountability.Required Education, Knowledge, And Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.7+ years of experience in commercial, brand, growth, strategy, consulting, food-tech, QSR, cloud kitchen, e-commerce, or related industries.Strong expertise in managing category/brand revenue, profitability, and performance metrics.Proven ability to develop and execute strategies, including product roadmaps and pricing plans.Excellent analytical skills to interpret customer insights, sales data, and KPIs to drive informed decisions.Strong understanding of marketing strategies, including campaign development for new product launches and ongoing promotions.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.Proficiency in data analysis tools, CRM platforms, and advanced Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Results-driven mindset with a focus on innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
