Commercial Manager - Civil

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for day-to-day commercial activities, tendering activities, procurement activities, team management, contract negotiation, and utilizing analytical skills to drive business growth.Key responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end tendering and bidding process for civil construction projectsLead contract negotiations and ensure proper execution and administrationOversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and servicesMonitor and control project budgets, ensuring accurate commercial reporting and forecastingSupervise and support the commercial and quantity surveying team to ensure effective project deliveryCollaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to align on commercial objectivesIdentify and mitigate commercial risks while exploring value-add opportunitiesEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements, and company policiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field8 - 12 years of relevant experience in commercial management within the civil construction industry. Proven experience in managing tendering, contract administration, and procurement for large-scale civil projects. Prior experience working with FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract is preferred. Experience in both contractor and consultancy environments is an advantage
