Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:Plan Construction Operations: Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are metBudget Preparation: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimatesContract Management: Follow up on contracts and ensure targets are achievedProgress Monitoring and Reporting: Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to the Project Manager (PM)Site Supervision: Supervise and manage day-to-day construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedulesConstruction Execution: Implement construction methodologies, work programs, and resource allocations to meet project objectivesCoordination: Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective execution of worksPerformance Monitoring: Monitor site progress, productivity, and performance against project milestonesQuality Assurance: Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and building codesHealth, Safety & Environment (HSE): Enforce HSE regulations across all construction activitiesTechnical Review: Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and work permits related to construction worksResource and Logistics Management: Manage site logistics, manpower distribution, and material utilizationRisk Management: Identify potential risks and delays and propose solutions to keep the project on trackInspection and Quality Control: Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented when requiredStakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication between site teams, consultants, and project managementDocumentation and Handover Support: Support the preparation of progress reports, project documentation, and handover requirementsJob RequirementsEducational Background and Previous Experiencebachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in the construction industry.At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.Knowledge and Functional SkillsStrong management and leadership skills.Proven project management capability.Sound business and commercial acumen.Extensive technical knowledge and construction experience.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Effective time management and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
