PROFITUT is committed to quality, reliability, and innovation, aiming to support clients’ long-term success.Role Description The Construction Safety Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in 6 October, responsible for overseeing safety performance across electromechanical construction and installation projects. This role involves developing, implementing, and updating safety policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations, industry standards, and company requirements. The Construction Safety Manager conducts regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, and leads daily toolbox talks and other safety briefings with site teams. The individual investigates incidents and near misses, prepares detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions, and follows up on the implementation of recommendations. The role also includes coordinating safety training, maintaining safety documentation, collaborating with project managers and supervisors to plan safe work methods, and engaging with contractors and clients to promote a strong safety culture.QualificationsStrong background in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with the ability to design and maintain comprehensive site safety programs.Proficiency in Safety Training and Industrial Safety practices, including delivering toolbox talks, formal training sessions, and safety orientations for diverse site teams.Experience in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, incident reporting, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Proven experience in construction or industrial environments, preferably in electromechanical projects, machine installation, or large-scale industrial facilities.Knowledge of relevant local and international safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., OSHA or equivalent, fire safety, working at height, confined spaces).Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence behavior and build a culture of safety among supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on active construction sites.Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are a strong advantage.Fluency in English
