Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Contracts Lawyer to join our legal team. Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managingcontracts across the business, ensuring compliance with Egyptian law and company policy, andmitigating contractual and legal risk. The role demands a strong commercial mindset, excellentdrafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to liaise with business units, external advisors, andregulators.Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, amend, and negotiate a wide range of contracts relevant to the business Ensure contracts comply with Egyptian laws and regulations and align with companypolicies. Provide legal advice to business units on contract strategy, risks, and obligations Monitor contract performance and compliance and identify key obligations or liabilities Maintain and manage contract templates and standard forms Conduct risk assessments on contractual terms and advise on risk mitigation Liaise with external counsel when required and coordinate their input Support the legal team in handling disputes, claims, and contract‑related litigation Maintain contract records and ensure proper documentation filing and retrieval Stay updated on Egyptian legislation and communicate implications to stakeholders Provide training to non‑legal staff on contract fundamentals and risks Assist in drafting corporate governance documents as neededRequirementsQualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from a recognized Egyptian university; English Sectionpreferred. Licensed to practice law in Egypt (membership at the Egyptian Bar) 5‑7 years of relevant experience in contract drafting/review in a law firm or in‑house role Strong knowledge of Egyptian commercial, civil, administrative, and labor laws Excellent drafting skills in Arabic and English; strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines Commercial awareness and pragmatic approach to risk management High ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity Preferred: experience in multinational or large local companies; exposure toarbitration/claims.Skills & Competencies: Contract drafting & negotiation Legal risk assessment & mitigation Excellent communication (Arabic & English) Time management & multitasking Commercial mindset & business partnership Legal research & regulatory monitoring Stakeholder management & cross‑functional collaboration Ethics, integrity & professional discretion Benefits offered: Individual medical insurance, social insurance, and transportation from designated pickup points (for Sokhna) Travel requirements: Currently based in Maadi, but you must be open to relocating or traveling to Sokhna once required Work location and model: Onsite (primarily Maadi, with possible work from Sokhna)Fluency in English is a must as you will be dealing with suppliers all over the world
