Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.Prepare and maintain accurate cost records for materials, labor, and overhead expenses.Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and inventory valuation.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost analysis and insights.Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.Develop and implement cost control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to cost accounting.Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline cost accounting practices.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to cross-functional teams as needed.
