Business Line:Electrical ProductsLocation:10th of RamadanReporting Line:Cost Control ManagerKey Accountabilities:Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily operations of the cost accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate execution of tasks.Review and validate order quotations to ensure they reflect accurate cost components and meet required profitability margins.Monitor and control actual versus planned costs per order; investigate variances and ensure corrective actions are taken.Supervise the accumulation and allocation of overhead costs by generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Support the Costing Manager in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring consistency with operational plans.Provide technical accounting support to cost accountants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to costing methodologies.Oversee inventory control across all warehouses, supervise annual physical counts, and report any variances or losses.Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize budget utilization and increase efficiency.Participate in the month-end closing process by validating cost entries and ensuring alignment with accounting standards.Assist in developing and updating cost structures and models tailored to each product line to support pricing and profitability decisions.Generate regular cost control reports including key performance indicators (KPIs) to support senior management in monitoring and decision-making.Qualifications & Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.5 –7 years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred).Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) related to costing and inventory modulesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis toolsExcellent communication and presentation skills.
