Purpose of the Role:*To monitor, analyze, and control project costs across ongoing construction projects, ensuring alignment with approved budgets, accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and timely identification of cost variances and financial risks.Key Responsibilities:*• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.• Track actual costs versus budget and identify variances.• Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and management summaries.• Monitor commitments, invoices, subcontractor payments, and procurement cost impacts.• Coordinate with planning, procurement, site, and finance teams for cost data collection and validation.• Support preparation of earned value analysis, cost performance reports, and forecasting.• Review BOQs, contracts, variations, and change orders from a cost control perspective.• Assist in cost coding structure and project cost breakdown setup.• Highlight potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.• Maintain accurate cost records and support monthly project performance reviews. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant engineering discipline.• 5–8 years of experience in cost control / project controls within the construction industry.• Proficiency in Excel • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is preferred.• Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
