· Monitor, record, and analyze production, operational, or project costs· Prepare cost reports and variance analysis (actual vs. budget/standard costs)· Develop and maintain cost control procedures and policies· Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling cost projections· Track inventory costs, material consumption, labor, and overhead allocations· Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions· Support month-end and year-end closing related to cost accounting· Reconcile cost accounts and ensure data accuracy in ERP/accounting systems· Collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams on cost issues· Assist internal and external audits by providing cost-related documentation.SkillsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field5-10 years of experience in cost accounting, cost control, or management accountingStrong understanding of budgeting, standard costing, and variance analysisProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Oracle) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controlsFluency in English (written and spoken).Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and reporting skillsCMA, or similar professional certification is an asset.Experience in construction, or project-based environmentsKnowledge of cost optimization and process improvement techniques
