The Cost Control Team Lead manages financial performance, budgeting, and variance analysis for facility management operations. This role requires a strong engineering background to accurately evaluate technical maintenance, lifecycle costs, and asset management expenses.Key ResponsibilitiesBudget Management: Oversee operational and capital expenditure (OPEX/CAPEX) budgets for all facilities.Cost Estimation: Review and validate engineering estimates, subcontractor variations, and material costs.Performance Tracking: Monitor project cash flows, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior cost control engineers and financial analysts.Reporting: Deliver regular financial forecasts and cost-benefit analyses to senior leadership.Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of cost control experience specifically within Facility Management (FM) or construction.Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of engineers or cost controllers.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP software (SAP/Oracle), MS Excel, and project management tools.
