The company prioritizes both the environment and communities, striving for sustainable construction practices globally.About the RoleThe Credit Controller will be responsible for managing customer collections, controlling overdue accounts, reducing credit risk, and supporting the sales team by providing suitable credit facilities to eligible customers. This role also ensures that collection targets are achieved in line with company policies and business objectives.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate credit control activities to ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments.Evaluate customers’ creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit facilities.Manage overdue accounts and resolve escalated collection issues.Approve and follow up on credit notes, account reconciliations, and invoice-related queries.Liaise with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to resolve credit control matters.Maintain accurate credit control data and prepare regular collection and performance reports.Monitor collection performance against targets and recommend improvements to credit control processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting.Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, collections, and finance operations is a plus.Good understanding of billing systems, credit policies, customer accounts, and collection procedures.Strong financial, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, follow-up, negotiation, and customer management skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage priorities effectively.Good command of Microsoft Excel andreporting tools.Preferred SkillsRequired competencies: assertiveness, customer focus, teamwork, integrity, people management, continuous improvement, andresults orientation.What’s in it for youHighly competitive monthly salary based on qualifications and experience.Free medical insurance coverage for employees and their families.Life insurance provided by Mapei.Bonus scheme based on the role and company policy.Interested candidates may send their updated CV to:Careers@mapei.egPlease mention “Credit Controller” in the email subject.
