Key Responsibilities(Import & Export Operations Shipping Line)Handle import and export operations in coordination with internal teams, terminals, and external partners. Manage vessel slots in line with Arrival EDI and partner discharge lists. Notify box operators of their discharge lists and ensure issuance of the initial NAFEZA numbers. Receive terminal discharge lists and share them with terminals and/or Vessel Operators (VO) as required. Coordinate vessel connections for transshipment (T/S) operations to ensure smooth cargo flow. Handle load lists received from customers and ensure accurate booking updates in the system. Follow up on booking forecasts with the principal to ensure alignment with operational plans. Ensure system closure is completed accurately after vessel sailing. Prepare and issue Terminal Departure Reports. Act as a key customer contact, ensuring timely updates, issue resolution, and a positive customer experience throughout the shipment lifecycle.Minimum RequirementsQualifications & Skills:1–2 years of experience in customer service within shipping lines or maritime logistics. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact daily with customers in a professional and customer‑centric manner. Solid understanding of import and export processes, including documentation such as Bookings, Bills of Lading (B/L), Shipping Orders (S/O) &Delivery Orders (D/O) Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and demonstrate a cross‑functional working mindset. Strong sense of ownership, organization, and follow‑through to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
