Design Director (Iraqi/Jordanian)

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and direction for all design activities.Oversee multidisciplinary design teams and ensure effective coordination between all disciplines.Establish design standards, procedures, and best practices across projects.Review and approve major design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.Manage design development from concept stage through detailed design and construction support.Ensure projects meet client requirements, technical standards, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with Project Management, QA/QC, BIM, and engineering departments.Lead design reviews, technical workshops, and client presentations.Manage design risks, identify improvement opportunities, and drive innovation.Mentor and develop design teams and promote continuous improvement.Provide technical guidance and support to senior management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.Professional registration or relevant certifications are preferred.ExperienceMinimum 20 years of experience in architectural and engineering design.Minimum 10 years in a senior design leadership role.Proven experience managing large-scale and mega projects.Extensive experience with multidisciplinary design consultancy environments.
