We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS cloud services and Ubuntu/Linux administration to build, maintain, and improve our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)Administer and troubleshoot Ubuntu/Linux servers in production environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)Monitor system performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and outagesManage containerized applications using Docker and (preferably) KubernetesImplement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategiesCollaborate with developers to optimize application deployment and performanceApply security best practices for cloud and Linux systems (patching, hardening, IAM policies, secrets management)Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and runbooksRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architectureStrong experience managing Ubuntu/Linux servers (CLI, networking, systemd, logs, permissions)Experience with shell scripting (Bash) and at least one scripting language (Python preferred)Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automationKnowledge of Docker and container orchestration conceptsExperience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation toolsSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, SSL/TLS)Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)Understanding of DevOps best practices, version control (Git), and agile workflowsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Kubernetes (EKS) in AWSAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer)Experience with security/compliance standards and hardeningExperience supporting production systems with on-call responsibilitiesSoft SkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsGood communication and collaboration across engineering teamsAbility to work independently and handle production incidents calmly
