The ideal candidate is both strategic and inventive—able to unify talabat’s tone of voice across all business, while bringing our authentic brand across. He/She will be responsible for crafting a messaging that reinforces talabat’s fun and relatable brand identity, telling our story to the world like it has never been told before.This individual will be responsible for developing and executing public affairs strategies that align with and serve the business objectives. The execution of these strategies happens in close alignment and collaboration with all verticals and functions across the business. The Public Affairs function serves as the main point of contact between the business and the Government, policymakers, industry groups, and key stakeholders. It plays an integral role in advising senior leadership on business-related topics as well as navigating the political and regulatory landscape. The key objectives is to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, business continuity, and positioning talabat as a strategic tech player and partner to the government.WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE?Craft and execute Talabat's communication strategy throughout the MENA region.Collaborate with top-level management and stakeholders to align communication strategies with the company's business goals.Take the reins of our regional communications team, offering strategic direction, and fostering team growth.Drive the creation of communication assets and content to achieve local market objectives.Collaborate closely with talabat's brand and marketing teams for a consistent brand voice across all channels.Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.Ensure compliance of all communication materials with relevant regulations through collaboration with talabat's legal team.Play a pivotal role in crisis communications, providing strategic direction and content.Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.Develop and execute Public Affairs strategies that align with and serve talabat’s business objectives, working in close collaboration with all verticals and functions across the business.Serve as the main point of contact between the business and the Government, policymakers, industry groups, and key stakeholders.Advise senior leadership on business-related topics and navigate the political and regulatory landscape on behalf of the business.Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations while safeguarding business continuity.Position talabat as a strategic tech player and a trusted partner to the government.Risk MitigationPolicy MonitoringQualificationsWHAT DID WE ORDER?Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, public policy, political science, law, or a related fieldSolid track record of leading public affairs and communications in Egyptian landscape.Proven ability in creating fresh and out-of-the-box communication campaigns that resonate with our young customer base.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams across talabat markets.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in crisis management and issues managementDemonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.Experience in tech or F&B is a plus.
