Company Description Al Hendal for Import & General Trading is the official Egyptian franchise partner of the Kuwaiti company Al Amanah. The company is introducing a franchise for premium tea products to the Egyptian market and operates Bubble Hope, an innovative café concept specializing in bubble tea with a variety of flavors. Team members join a dynamic environment that values customer satisfaction, product quality, and innovation in the food and beverage sector.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Director role based in Cairo. The Director will oversee day-to-day operations across the premium tea franchise and Bubble Hope café brand, ensuring consistent service quality, product standards, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, managing budgets and financial performance, and driving revenue growth across locations. The Director will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, oversee recruitment and training, and foster a positive, performance-oriented culture. The role involves coordinating with franchise partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, health and safety standards, and local regulations. The Director will also analyze market trends, identify expansion opportunities, and support marketing and promotional activities to strengthen brand visibility in Egypt.Qualifications Proven leadership skills, with experience directing operations or business units, preferably in food and beverage, retail, or franchising.Strong strategic planning and business development skills, including setting targets, developing growth plans, and managing P&L.Solid operational management capabilities, including process optimization, inventory control, quality assurance, and vendor management.People management skills, including team leadership, performance management, coaching, and building inclusive, collaborative work environments.Experience in customer experience management, with a focus on service quality, customer feedback, and continuous improvement.Financial and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting operational and market data to inform decisions.Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with franchise partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.Previous experience launching or scaling brands or franchises is highly beneficial.Familiarity with the Egyptian retail or hospitality market and the ability to work on-site in Cairo.
