Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Development: Establish, implement, and update internal procedures and filing systems for all project documentation (drawings, correspondence, tenders).Leadership & Management: Lead and train the document control team, assign tasks based on project scope, and conduct performance appraisals.Document Control: Monitor the entire document lifecycle (receipt, review, distribution, storage, and archival) ensuring high accuracy and version control.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and visits to ensure documentation complies with company policies, project requirements, and standards.Coordination: Act as the liaison between the project management team, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of documents.Reporting: Prepare periodic progress reports on document status to senior management to track performance and identify bottlenecks.RequirementsExperience: Proven experience in document control, with experience leading role (typically 2+ years in a senior or lead role).Software Skills: Proficiency in electronic document management systems (EDMS), SharePoint, and MS Office Suite.Communication: Strong organizational, attention to detail, and communication skills.Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of engineering, construction, or manufacturing documentation procedures is typically required.Common QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field.Training in document control systems.
