Participating in this project could be a pivotal milestone in your career and a significant historical achievement for the region.Today, we are recruiting for a Document Controller to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of Siemens Mobility’s largest infrastructure projects.What are my responsibilities?Manage technical documents and correspondence throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely processing, submission, tracking, and distribution.Work in accordance with established document management processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with project requirements.Operate the electronic document management system (ACONEX), including document registration, uploading, linking, and metadata management.Apply project documentation codes and maintain accurate version and revision control in line with the Project Data Structure (PDS).Monitor document status and ensure timely approvals, releases, and distributions across project stakeholders.Coordinate document workflows from formal review through final approval, supporting design submissions with the Employer and relevant representatives.Collaborate closely with document control teams and project stakeholders to maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.Perform quality checks to ensure documentation meets project standards before release to clients, consultants, and other involved parties.Monitor documentation compliance with project standards and report any inconsistencies related to PDS or ACONEX metadata.Be available to support activities at Rolling Stock project sites, including October Gardens Depot and New Capital Service Point.What do I need to qualify for this job?Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.2–4 years of professional experience, preferably in document management or project documentation.Basic experience in Document Management (DM) processes and systems.Experience with ACONEX, Microsoft OneDrive, SAP P22, or ProjectWise is considered an advantage.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple document workflows.Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.What else do I need to know?As a world leader in developing and producing some of the most advanced technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide while also protecting the climate—all thanks to our employees.
