Today, we are recruiting for a EHS Manager to join our team in Egypt. Develop, implement, and regularly update the Project EHS Management Plan, framework, and associated processes. Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, contractual obligations, company standards, and project-specific requirements. Coordinate and maintain oversight of environmental, health, and safety activities across all project functions and operational areas. Monitor the implementation of EHS requirements through inspections, audits, and compliance assessments, including supplier and subcontractor activities. Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive and protective measures to mitigate safety and environmental risks. Coordinate EHS reporting activities and ensure effective tracking and closure of findings, observations, and corrective actions. Prepare, coordinate, and maintain documentation related to audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary EHS interface with customers, authorities, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Promote a strong safety culture and integrate environmental, health, and safety considerations into daily project execution. Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental events, conducting root-cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Ensure compliance with environmental requirements related to waste management, emissions, noise control, and environmental protection. Monitor environmental performance and prepare environmental reports, KPIs, and performance indicators. Identify EHS trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the project. Prepare and present monthly EHS reports, including key performance indicators, major events, findings, and action plans. Lead and supervise the EHS Team, including EHS Supervisors, Rail Safety Specialists, and other assigned personnel. What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in EHS management, compliance, audits, inspections, operational safety, or risk management within industrial, infrastructure, maintenance, railway, or project environments. Experience in railway, construction, maintenance, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, statutory compliance, risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation, and audit processes. Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder interfaces. Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills. Ability to work within formal management systems, document-controlled environments, and customer-facing projects. Good command of spoken and written English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHS reporting systems. Good physical condition and compliance with Fitness Class 2 requirements. What else do I need to know?
