We are seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Lead Engineer to lead electrical BIM production, coordination, and team development.The RoleThe Electrical BIM Lead Engineer is responsible for leading the electrical BIM team, overseeing model development, ensuring quality and coordination, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration across disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesBIM Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and manage the electrical BIM teamAssign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are metProvide technical guidance and support to BIM engineers and modelersParticipate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance development of team membersElectrical BIM ProductionOversee the development of electrical BIM models (power, lighting, low current systems)Ensure models comply with project standards, BIM execution plans (BEP), and client requirementsReview and approve electrical models, drawings, and deliverablesEnsure accuracy, constructability, and consistency across all project outputsCoordination & CollaborationLead electrical coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplinesParticipate in clash detection, resolution meetings, and coordination workshopsCollaborate with project managers, design engineers, and external stakeholdersSupport multidisciplinary model integration and data exchangeStandards, QA/QC & ProcessesDevelop and enforce electrical BIM standards, workflows, and best practicesPerform regular QA/QC checks on models and drawingsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specificationsSupport continuous improvement of BIM processes and toolsSoftware & Technical ExpertiseLead the use of BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and related toolsSupport troubleshooting of complex BIM or modeling issuesCoordinate with BIM management on templates, families, and automation initiativesQualifications & SkillsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldProven experience as an Electrical BIM Engineer with leadership or senior responsibilitiesStrong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical)Solid understanding of electrical systems (power, lighting, low current)Experience leading BIM teams and coordinating multidisciplinary modelsStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environmentPreferredExperience working on international or large-scale projectsFamiliarity with Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, Dynamo, or similar toolsKnowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BEP developmentPrevious experience in a BIM-focused or digital delivery environmentWorking Hours & LocationLocation: In-office role based in 5th Settlement, New Cairo, EgyptSchedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM( Saturdays and Sundays: OFF)Break: 1-hour dinner break includedWhat We OfferLeadership role within a growing BIM-focused organizationExposure to complex and high-impact projectsCollaborative and technically driven work environmentCompetitive compensation based on experienceOpportunities for professional growth and advancementHow to ApplyIf you are a motivated Electrical BIM professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for digital project delivery, we’d love to hear from you.Please apply with your resume and relevant project experience.
