Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and manage electrical maintenance and automation engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Act as the escalation point and technical authority for complex electrical and automation issues.Oversee fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance, preventive, and predictive maintenance strategies.Review and analyze daily fault and maintenance reports; consolidate findings and present to the Maintenance Manager/Head of Department.Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company procedures.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns and recurring issues, implementing sustainable solutions.Provide expert leadership in PLC, HMI, drives, and industrial communication systems.Supervise programming, troubleshooting, modification, and optimization of Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal).Ensure reliable operation of HMIs and Profibus networks.Lead configuration and integration of industrial drives (Siemens Master Drives, Sinamics, ABB, Parker, Control Techniques).Ensure proper system documentation, backups, and standardization of automation programs.Plan and manage electrical and automation scope for new machines, lines, and plant upgrades.Ensure smooth integration of new equipment into existing power and automation systems.Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and internal departments during installation and commissioning.Define and control critical spare parts strategy and inventory levels to minimize downtime.Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance processes, manpower efficiency, automation performance, and material utilization.Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance KPIs and technical reports.Qualifications & EducationBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.8–12 years of progressive experience in electrical maintenance and industrial automation, with proven leadership or section-level responsibility in manufacturing or industrial environments.Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal)HMIs and Profibus communication systemsIndustrial drives (Siemens, Sinamics, ABB, Parker, Control Techniques)Strong troubleshooting expertise in electrical power systems, controls, and automation.Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS preferred).
