Electrical Tender Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs.Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects.Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation.Prepare detailed material, labor, and equipment cost calculations.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain technical and commercial inputs.Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Ensure tender submissions comply with client specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.Identify project risks and recommend cost-effective solutions.Clarify technical requirements with clients when needed.Prepare bid documentation and submit tenders within deadlines.Support negotiations and provide technical clarification during the bidding process.Maintain records of submitted tenders, pricing, and project data.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.3–7 years of experience in electrical tendering, estimation, or proposal engineering.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and electrical construction.Experience in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and bid preparation.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with estimation software is an advantage.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Experience in the Middle East market is preferred.
