In this role, you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and seamless event execution. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency. You will be responsible for coordinating with various departments, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food and beverage service.Supervise and coordinate all banquet staff during events, ensuring professional conduct and adherence to service standardsPlan and organize banquet events from initial consultation through execution, managing timelines and logisticsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations throughout all banquet operationsManage guest interactions professionally, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfactionCoordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event deliveryTrain, mentor, and evaluate banquet staff, providing constructive feedback and performance guidanceMonitor inventory, equipment, and supplies; report maintenance needs and cost-saving opportunitiesManage event setup, breakdown, and room transitions efficientlyMaintain detailed records of events, guest preferences, and special requirementsResolve operational issues and guest complaints promptly and professionallyEnsure accurate billing and reconciliation of banquet chargesUphold company standards and policies while maintaining a supportive team environmentQualificationsMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience in banquet, catering, or event managementProven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and diverse guest requirementsStrong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staffExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in EnglishComprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service standards and protocolsStrong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detailCustomer service excellence and conflict resolution expertiseKnowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations in food service operationsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredProblem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressurePreferred: Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end event venuesPreferred: Familiarity with multiple cuisines and diverse service stylesAdditional InformationOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
