The English Language Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons aligned with the EYFS and Cambridge International Curriculum, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, teaching reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, and integrating appropriate classroom resources and educational technology. The teacher will monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, maintain accurate records, and contribute to reports and parent communication. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and collaborative planning with colleagues to support a positive, inclusive school culture.QualificationsStrong English language proficiency, with excellent skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening instruction.Proven classroom teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction.Experience with EYFS and/or Cambridge Primary and Secondary curricula, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.Ability to design engaging, student-centered learning activities and integrate educational technology effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues.Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, TESOL, or a related field; teaching qualification or certification is highly desirable.Experience teaching English as a first or additional language to school-aged learners; IGCSE experience is an advantage.Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices and to ongoing professional growth.
