AI-driven tutoring, mastery-oriented progression, and a complete rethinking of traditional classroom design underpin these results. The performance is remarkable. We now need a leader who can standardize execution across varied school environments, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement rooted in sound learning science.This is not a position for academic theorists. It's a leadership charge. You will own the academic strategy in practice, define precise standards, surface execution shortfalls, and mentor high-caliber teams to achieve tangible outcomes. You will convert our scientific principles into operational rigor and champion this model on a global stage.What You Will Be DoingDesigning academic frameworks that transform learning science into actionable direction for curriculum design, motivation architecture, and application development.Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams remain aligned, accountable, and results-focused.Integrating data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that pinpoint the most impactful obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone oversight to sustain focus on student learning objectives.Serving as the external face of 2 Hour Learning in high-profile forums, from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education, advancing systemic transformation in global education paradigms.What You Won’t Be DoingMaking incremental adjustments to isolated curriculum initiatives without producing systemic impact.Producing theoretical research that lacks direct connection to student performance or operational implementation.Transferring accountability for outcomes to mid-level managers or external advisors.Depending on institutional reputation or theoretical arguments to convince critical audiences.Director Of Academic Excellence Key ResponsibilitiesExpand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by standardizing execution across multiple school sites, raising leadership performance expectations, and establishing yourself as the authoritative public voice of a movement built on rigorous science and measurable outcomes.Basic RequirementsAdvanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related fieldAt least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees (not an informal peer leader role, such as grade-level lead); you must have been responsible for hiring, monitoring performance, coaching, and making termination decisionsExperience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standardsExperience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education, such as through personalized learning, adaptive learning, AI agents, etc.Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people (e.g., the teams you managed directly executed curriculum, instruction, or assessment)Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional settingAbout 2 Hour LearningEducation is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
