Gems International School Soma Bay is seeking a motivated and experienced English Teacher (Primary 4, 5, 6) to join our dedicated team. This role involves teaching upper primary students and fostering strong language skills to support their academic growth and confidence.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to Primary 4, 5, and 6 studentsUse a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and promote an interactive classroom environmentAssess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to help students improveEncourage student participation and foster a love of reading, writing, and communicationCollaborate with colleagues to develop and enrich the English curriculum and extracurricular activitiesMaintain communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvementContribute to a supportive and positive school environment focused on student well-being and successRequirementsBachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related fieldTeaching certification and relevant qualifications for primary educationExperience teaching English to upper primary students (Primary 4, 5, 6) is highly preferredStrong understanding of language acquisition and child developmentExcellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to create stimulating lesson plans that engage and motivate studentsCommitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching practicesSafeguarding Statement: The safety and well-being of our students are a top priority.
