Not only in terms of work, get involvedtoo in firm-wide events.Job Summary:The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-dayoperations for their engagement teams within the Finance ServiceTower, delivering Finance Managed Services to customers. Thisincludes execution of processes, accountability for services levelperformance and continuous learning and improvement of the team.They also play a key role in helping to input into and execute theFinance Managed Services strategic plans and programs.Roles and Responsibilities:● Manages the day-to-day delivery for Finance engagementsincluding oversight of key customer deliverables / outputs.● Ensures timely and accurate processing of financial transactionsacross end to end finance processes for their engagementswhich may include procure to pay, record to report, order tocash and general ledger functions etc.● Demonstrate sound understanding of financial reportingprocesses, risk and controls.● Completes quality reviews and audits to ensure that delivery ontheir engagements is inline with established policies,procedures, compliance standards and customer expectations.● Holds overall accountability for SLA / OLA compliance withintheir engagement team across Finance processes undertaken● Applies analytical and financial modeling skills with holisticfinancial thinking and ability to interpret financial data.● Manages your own workload as well as that of the engagementteam’s, including reporting on progress and issues escalations● Monitors the performance of team members on theirengagements on an ongoing basis and implements appropriatecoaching● Manages, mentors, and motivates their engagement teammembers, fostering a culture of excellence, high performance,and continuous learning● Work collaboratively to drive ideas/solutions with peers andmanagers which will improve Client and PwC’s efficiency.● Helps to implement and adapt to new or changing processesquickly.● Proactively build relationships with all team members withinPwC including engagement with client teams as well ascustomers of our clients.● Implements corrective actions to address any deviations, andcontinuously improves service delivery based on feedback● Leads quality improvement initiatives based on feedback andobservations● Supports in executing the Finance Managed Services plans andprograms to ensure the improvement of team performance andachievement of its objectives.Expected Skills:● Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years experience ina role relevant to Accounting or Financial Reporting● 3+ years people management experience leading a team in acomplex process environment and managing workflow to deliverclient outcomes● Strong, practical knowledge with accounting/ reporting systemsand Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet● Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, withknowledge and experience managing risk and controls● Knowledge of US GAAP and Insurance or Reinsuranceaccounting experience is desirable● Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments● Excellent MS office skills● Experience in coaching and coordinating a team to ensuredeadlines are adhered to● Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators(KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of financeoperations● Experience of working collaboratively to drive ideas/solutionswith diverse teams to improve efficiencies● Strong leader who can communicate fluently in English anddemonstrate an ability to drive personal and collectiveaccountability from a diverse team● Self motivated and independent, and can demonstrate strongrelationships with internal and external parties● Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; demonstratesstrong analytical skills● Demonstrates commercial awareness in daily service provisionwithin own area of responsibilityYears of Experience:Part Qualified Accountant with minimum 5 years experience or QualifiedChartered accountant with experience in a role relevant to Accounting orFinancial Reporting Required SkillsOptional SkillsAccepting Feedback, Accepting Feedback, Accounting Consulting, Accounting Policies, Active Listening, Analytical Thinking, Coaching and Feedback, Communication, Compliance With Accounting Standards, Complying With Regulations, Creativity, Economic Forecasting, Embracing Change, Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Financial Accounting, Financial Economics, Financial Management, Financial Market, Financial Modeling, Financial Regulation, Financial Reporting, Financial Risk Management, Financial Statement Analysis, Financial Statement Preparation {+ 16 more}Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified)Travel RequirementsNot SpecifiedAvailable for Work Visa Sponsorship?NoGovernment Clearance Required?NoJob Posting End Date
