EYFS English Teacher (Nursery)

Role Description The Toddler Teacher (Nursery) is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for toddlers in an on-site nursery located in Heliopolis. This full-time role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting early childhood development, and promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The teacher will supervise children throughout the day, including playtime, learning sessions, meals, and rest periods, while maintaining a clean and organized classroom. Daily tasks include observing and documenting children’s progress, communicating regularly with parents or guardians, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent care and educational standards. The role also requires adherence to nursery policies, health and safety guidelines, and child protection standards.QualificationsProven experience working with toddlers or in early childhood education settings, preferably in a nursery or preschool.Knowledge of child development principles and ability to design age-appropriate activities that support learning through play.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.Ability to maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized classroom environment, following health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to managing toddler behavior and emotional needs.Ability to work on-site in Heliopolis on a full-time basis and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Relevant education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; additional childcare or teaching certifications are an advantage.Fluency in English is a must
