Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Egypt for a Field Service Engineer. The responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of medical and sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and surgical equipment. The engineer will perform equipment validation, upgrades, and automation using PLC systems and will also provide training and customer support to ensure seamless service delivery. Collaborating with technicians and clients to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability is an integral part of the role. QualificationsTechnical skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing medical equipment, including autoclaves and surgical tables.Proficiency in automation technologies, including experience with PLC systems, HMI, and classic control systemsKnowledge of validation and calibration processes for medical equipment, particularly sterilizers .Strong interpersonal and communication skills for providing training and client supportAbility to manage parts, including sourcing and installation of spare components like solenoids, repair kits, and circuit boardsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical fieldRelevant certifications or training in medical equipment maintenance or automation is a plusProblem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFluency in written and spoken English .
