Regional Accounting & Finance Manager (Egypt & UAE)Confidential Search for an International Franchise BrandWe are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-established international brand operating through a franchising model across multiple markets. We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Regional Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee finance operations across Egypt and the UAE.This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise, taxation experience, and regional exposure to join a growing organization and play a key role in supporting its continued expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting, financial reporting, and financial control activities across Egypt and UAE operations.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations.Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance reporting.Oversee taxation matters including UAE VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, Egyptian VAT, withholding tax, and statutory compliance requirements.Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and working capital optimization.Monitor franchise-related financial activities, including royalties, franchise receivables, and financial compliance.Coordinate external audits, tax audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.Drive financial process improvements, internal controls, and ERP implementation/optimization initiatives.Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.Minimum 10–12 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.Minimum 4–5 years in a managerial leadership role.Strong experience managing finance operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.Hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax is a strong plus.Experience with franchising business and real estate are a strong asset.Strong knowledge of Egyptian taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements.Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills.Perfect command of English is a must.Personal AttributesProven leadership and team management capabilities.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Business development skills are asset.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
