Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Assistant Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Assistant Manager to join our finance team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality financial planning, reporting, and analysis, with strong emphasis on planning accuracy, financial control, and corporate finance support. The ideal candidate will ensure robust financial models, reliable forecasts, and disciplined financial insights to support management decision-making.Responsibilities:Lead and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes with strong focus on accuracy and consistencyPrepare and consolidate monthly financial reports (Actuals, Pre-Flash, Budget, and Forecast) ensuring high data quality and reliabilityDevelop high-quality financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysisDrive continuous improvement in planning processes, assumptions, and methodologiesPerform detailed variance analysis and highlight key financial risks and opportunitiesAssess COGS sensitivity to FX fluctuations and its impact on profitabilitySupport cash flow planning and working capital analysis to improve liquidity visibilityConduct balance sheet reviews and monitor key accounts to ensure financial accuracy and controlSupport corporate finance activities, including investment analysis and business cases, capital expenditure evaluation, basic funding and cash planning support, and ensure alignment between P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet in all planning cyclesMaintain strong governance over financial data, assumptions, and reporting standardsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field8+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Planning, or Corporate FinanceExperience in automotive industry or retail automotive business is highly preferredProfessional certification such as CMA, CPA, or MBA is an advantageStrong expertise in financial modeling and planning processesSolid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet)Strong attention to detail and high level of data accuracy and control mindsetGood communication skills with ability to present financial information clearlyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, or Power Query is a plus
