About the CompanyThe Fire Alarm & Life Safety Engineer at the Plasma Donation Center is responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and effectiveness of fire detection, alarm, evacuation, and firefighting systems across the facility. This role supports the design review, installation follow-up, testing, maintenance, and compliance of life safety systems, ensuring the protection of people, equipment, and operations in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.About the RoleThis role supports the design review, installation follow-up, testing, maintenance, and compliance of life safety systems, ensuring the protection of people, equipment, and operations in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.ResponsibilitiesFire Alarm & Life Safety Systems Support the design review and execution of fire alarm and firefighting systems for the new facility.Ensure proper installation and operation of fire alarm panels, detectors, evacuation systems, extinguishers, suppression systems, and associated devices.Monitor and maintain fire detection and alarm systems to ensure readiness and compliance.Coordinate testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for fire alarm and fire protection systems.Ensure proper functioning of emergency and evacuation systems across the facility.Participate in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of alarms, panels, field devices, and interfaces.Supervise contractors and service providers involved in fire alarm and firefighting system works.Coordinate fire drills, emergency preparedness activities, and safety improvement initiatives where required.Ensure compliance with internal safety procedures and applicable fire protection standards.Support investigations related to alarms, incidents, or system failures.Compliance & Documentation Maintain documentation for inspections, testing, maintenance, and compliance audits.Ensure fire alarm layouts, device lists, cause-and-effect matrices, and safety documentation are up to date.Generate reports on inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and system status.Support authorities’ inspections and internal/external audits related to life safety systems.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.Required Skills3+ years of experience in fire alarm, fire protection, or life safety systems.Hands-on experience with fire alarm panels, detectors, evacuation systems, and firefighting equipment.Experience in installation follow-up, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and safety systems.Familiarity with life safety requirements in industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or critical facilities.Knowledge of applicable fire protection standards such as NFPA is highly valued.Experience with emergency systems, evacuation procedures, and safety compliance.GMP or regulated environment experience is a plus.Preferred SkillsMS Office.AutoCAD is a plus.SAP is a plus.
