Alpha Chlorella offers opportunities to shape early-stage technologies and influence the future of sustainable agriculture.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Etay El Baroud for a Founder & Agricultural Engineer specializing in Nano Biofertilizer and Chlorella systems. The role involves designing, testing, and optimizing nano biofertilizer formulations and Chlorella cultivation systems, including lab-scale experiments and field trials. The Agricultural Engineer will oversee day-to-day operations such as monitoring culture conditions, managing inputs and outputs, collecting and analyzing agronomic data, and documenting experimental results. Responsibilities include collaborating with growers, suppliers, and technical partners, developing standard operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant agricultural and environmental regulations. The role also includes preparing technical reports, supporting grant or investor presentations, and contributing to product roadmap decisions, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans for agricultural solutions.Qualifications Strong foundation in agronomy, agricultural engineering, plant science, or related field, with experience in crop nutrition, soil health, or biofertilizers.Hands-on experience with microalgae (ideally Chlorella) cultivation, bioreactors, or related biotechnology systems, including monitoring growth parameters and optimizing yields.Proficiency in experimental design, data collection, and basic statistical analysis for evaluating field trials and lab experiments.Knowledge of sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices, including integrated nutrient management, water-use efficiency, and environmentally responsible input use.Ability to develop and implement technical protocols, SOPs, and quality control procedures for production and application of bio-based agricultural inputs.Experience interacting with farmers or agribusiness partners, conducting on-farm demonstrations, and translating technical results into practical recommendations.Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take ownership of early-stage operations, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Strong communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts, with the ability to
