The RoleYou'll be joining the Formulate team at Specright - an intelligent, AI-powered workspace for foodand beverage formula development. We're building a product that food and beveragecompanies rely on daily. You'll work closely with product leads and other engineers, ownfeatures end to end, and ship frequently. You'll build and maintain the AI-powered features thatmake the platform work.What you'll do:Build agentic workflows using frameworks like OpenAI Agents SDK: designingtool-calling flows, multi-agent orchestration, and structured reasoning pipelinesWork with vector embeddings and semantic search to power intelligent matching andretrievalEvaluate and select the right models for the job. Understand tradeoffs between GPT-5,GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, and smaller/faster alternativesWrite evaluation scripts and tests to keep AI features accurate, safe, and measurableInstrument AI calls with observability tooling: trace failures, monitor latency, track qualityover timePartner with product to scope experiments, ship fast, and learn from results What we're looking for:3+ years full-stack experience (React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL)Strong fundamentals.
