Hospice Egypt is a project of Jossab foundation that provides hospice services that improve the quality of life and allow the terminal patient to pass away in dignity. Terminally ill patients are patients who no longer receive curative treatment and are receiving hospice care. It also provides support to the family members of the patient even after the patient passes away.Hospice Egypt services are completely free of charge to adult terminally ill patients regardless of their race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic class.The project receives patients referred from different referral bodies and provides its services which are nursing, medical, social, psychological, and financial support through its trained multidisciplinary mobile hospice team.Hospice Egypt continues to meet its mission and develop its services by establishing a new stationary hospice building to serve terminally ill patients who have no caregivers supporting them.About the RoleHospice Egypt is seeking a passionate and results‑driven Fundraising Officer to support its life‑changing mission in palliative care. This role is ideal for an NGO professional who combines relationship‑building skills with creativity, strategic thinking, and strong donor engagement experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and continuously update donor databases, including individual and corporate donors, ensuring accurate records of contacts, engagement history, and giving preferences.Design and execute innovative fundraising campaigns and initiatives, both online and offline, to diversify income streams and increase donor engagement.Identify, research, and cultivate prospective donors, building and maintaining a robust fundraising pipeline to grow sustainable, long‑term partnerships.Contribute to fundraising strategy and budget planning, supporting income projections and funding forecasts.Monitor fundraising performance and prepare progress reports, tracking outcomes against targets and sharing insights with the General Manager.Strengthen Hospice Egypt’s external presence by networking with individual and corporate donors, supporters, and partners aligned with the hospice mission.Write compelling funding proposals and grant applications to local and international NGOs, foundations, and institutional donors.Build and nurture new donor relationships through Zoom meetings, presentations, and structured follow‑up activities.Coordinate internal materials and documentation required by donors, such as proposals, impact reports, presentations, and compliance documents, ensuring timely and professional delivery.Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years of hands‑on fundraising experience within NGOs or nonprofit organizations, with responsibility for donor relations and income generation.Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and influence donors.Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission‑driven environment.Working Conditions : Freelance / Full-time job.
