The role combines creativity, technical expertise, and market insight to deliver functional, aesthetically appealing, and commercially successful kitchen solutions that align with customer needs, industry trends, and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and develop new kitchen concepts, product lines, and collections aligned with the company's brand strategy and market positioning.Research market trends, customer preferences, emerging materials, finishes, hardware systems, and international kitchen design innovations.Design functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appealing kitchen solutions for residential and commercial applications.Develop product specifications, cabinet configurations, material selections, finishes, and design standards.Prepare 2D and 3D designs, technical drawings, renderings, and product presentation materials using approved design software.Evaluate and recommend new materials, accessories, hardware systems, and manufacturing techniques to support product innovation.Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development lifecycle.Ensure all product concepts are technically feasible, manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with quality standards.Review prototypes and participate in product testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support product launches by preparing design documentation, product specifications, and showroom presentation concepts.Provide technical support and product knowledge to showroom sales teams and other internal stakeholders.Recommend enhancements to existing products based on customer feedback, sales performance, and market analysis.Maintain design documentation, product specifications, and technical records.Ensure all designs comply with company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and industry best practices.Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture Engineering, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 5–7 years of experience in kitchen design, cabinetry design, product development, furniture design, or Customized Home solutions.Proven experience in developing new kitchen concepts, collections, and product lines.Experience working with manufacturing processes and product development is highly preferred.Knowledge & SkillsExpert understanding of kitchen planning, ergonomics, and space optimization principles.Strong knowledge of kitchen materials, cabinet construction, countertops, hardware systems, accessories, and finishing solutions.Thorough understanding of kitchen manufacturing processes and production techniques.Strong product development and concept creation capabilities.Ability to interpret architectural drawings and develop detailed technical documentation.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, or other relevant kitchen design software.Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and product lifecycle management.Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.CompetenciesProduct Development & InnovationCreative ThinkingDesign ExcellenceTechnical ExpertiseCommercial AwarenessMarket & Trend AnalysisProject CoordinationCollaborationProblem SolvingAttention to DetailResults Orientation
