Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Furniture Designer based in New Cairo. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for developing innovative furniture concepts, creating detailed design schematics, and overseeing the production process to ensure quality and functionality. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with clients, teams, and suppliers to bring custom designs to life, and staying informed on market trends and innovative materials. QualificationsFurniture Design and Product Design expertise to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing piecesProficiency in Carpentry and Furniture-making techniques to ensure quality productionInterior Design knowledge to align furniture styles with various spatial conceptsStrong understanding of materials, measurements, and production processesExcellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, artisans, and internal teamsProficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar toolsBachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related fieldPrevious experience in furniture or product design is highly desirable
