We value innovation, accuracy, and reliability in all aspects of our operations.Role Description The General Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling accounts. This full-time remote role is responsible for preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flows, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The General Accountant will review invoices, process payments, track expenses, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The role will also assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and responding to internal and external audit requests. Collaboration with finance and operational teams is expected to support data-driven decision-making and maintain strong financial controls.QualificationsStrong knowledge of general accounting principles, including journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.Experience preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to manage digital records and financial data accurately.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrections.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.Commitment to ethical financial practices and compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.Prior experience in the travel, hospitality, or services sector is beneficial but not required.
