Role DescriptionThe General Accountant is responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial records to support effective financial decision-making. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies while contributing to smooth month-end and year-end closing processes.Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and paymentsReconcile bank statements regularly to verify accuracy and identify discrepanciesPrepare, review, and maintain financial statements in accordance with accounting principlesConduct month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsMaintain organized and updated financial records, ledgers, and reportsEnsure compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and company policiesAssist with audits by preparing required documents and supporting external auditorsSupport budgeting and forecasting processes as neededIdentify opportunities to enhance financial processes and improve operational efficiencyRequirementsRole Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProven experience in general accounting or a similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax complianceProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficientlyStrong communication and problem-solving abilities1-3 Years of experience
