General Manager of Production Base (Apparel Industry)

Job Objective: Establish a factory in Egypt and assume full responsibility for the company's overseas production and operational management, ensuring smooth production activities. Proficiency in English, Arabic, and Chinese communication is required.Key Responsibilities:1. Coordinate with business departments and clients to finalize production orders and organize deliveries;2. Monitor and manage the daily operations of overseas production lines, including but not limited to production planning, quality control, and logistics management;3. Maintain good communication with local government authorities and business partners, and resolve issues arising during production;4. Drive and implement measures to enhance production efficiency, optimizing production processes and workflows;5. Participate in formulating and executing the company's international production strategy to foster growth in overseas markets;6. Manage the team and boost team morale.Requirements:1. Associate degree or higher; 8–10 years of experience in production management within the garment manufacturing industry preferred;2. Familiarity with the local Egyptian market; proficiency in English, Arabic, and Chinese communication is required;3. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to lead the team in achieving production targets;4. Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of effectively resolving issues during international production;5. In-depth understanding of the Egyptian market and the ability to accurately grasp market trends;6. Strong team spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Position Description1. Break down the company's overall production targets to formulate monthly and weekly production goals and schedules for the branch factory, allocating tasks to specific teams; coordinate order distribution and resource allocation in real-time based on workshop capacity.2. Oversee production process control, ensuring adherence to delivery schedules and product quality standards.3. Manage workshop safety (addressing workplace injuries, fire safety, equipment damage due to misuse, loss of property, etc.); supervise 6S management and internal factory audits; ensure timely rectification of issues and establish preventive measures to create a closed-loop management process.4. Participate in the management of emergency response plans (fire, natural disasters, environmental incidents, chemical handling, etc.); control production costs, material utilization, and energy efficiency; reduce labor costs and improve labor productivity.5. Handle daily HR-related approvals for factory staff; manage performance appraisals and feedback sessions for subordinates; oversee talent pipeline development.6. Manage customer complaints by formulating corrective actions, negotiating with clients, and resolving issues; handle compensation or product returns for "STOP" orders; negotiate with customers regarding delays caused by logistics (e.g., shipping or air freight schedules) to arrange for rescheduled delivery or compensation.
